1.    About 30 hours into it I felt a mild caffeine detox headache coming on - so I got an instant coffee pack that I scavenged from some MREs, imbibed, and went to bed. The next morning I had a blazing headache, due perhaps in part to the blazing sunshine (where we were it was fully shining at 5 am), and, strangely, due to [no] caffeine. I got D to heat up some water while I grabbed another packet ... then ... NO WAY!!! ... I discovered that these MRE instant coffee packs were decaf.  Please don't tell me our armed forces are trying to fight a war with DECAF!!!

2.    There were NO mosquitoes up there. It might be a nice summer in that regard.

3.    On the way out I spoke with a guide about the goats ... I was right.
