Goat on face ...

The branch
at the middle right hand side of the pic `points' to a tiny white dot near
the top of the dark (shaded) rock outcropping about 80 ft from the top of
The Finger. It's a big billy ... top of the world ... perched on the
face of four hundred feet of cliff. He stood for a while, looking at
me, then laid down. At first I thought I would have to notify the IFG that there is a goat trapped on the face of a cliff and can't get off ... then I realized ... no. A short time later I saw he had moved up and was grazing on something in the chute above his original perch. Amazing. |
